The METALCON education program for 2026 adds a Spanish-language Latino Track and keeps METAL Mastery Clinics on standing seam panels, metal shingles and retrofit systems, according to Roofing Contractor (June 8, 2026). The 35th anniversary show runs October 7 to 9, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, with pre-show workshops starting October 6.
What is new for 2026
- Latino Track (new): Spanish-language educational sessions and training demonstrations.
- METAL Mastery Clinics: on the show floor, presented by the Metal Construction Association and the Metal Roofing Alliance, covering standing seam metal panels, metal shingles and metal roofing retrofit systems.
- METALCON Training Zone: hands-on demonstrations with painted steel, aluminum, zinc, copper and other specialty materials, sponsored by Sherwin-Williams MetalVue and led by John Sheridan of Sheridan Metal Resources, in English and Spanish.
- Outlook sessions: the future of metal construction, material costs, supply chain conditions and code changes.
- Keynotes: former Major League Baseball pitcher Jim Abbott on leadership and resilience, and economist Kermit Baker on the construction and design market outlook.
The report does not state session counts, hours or prices, so confirm those on the show’s registration page before booking. For the commercial standing-seam segment, the Mastery Clinics are the closest match to the report’s topics.
