  2. Space the purlins correctly. Keep cross supports no more than 36 inches apart, and use 24 inches for the best balance of support, economy, and clarity. Flatter roofs and snow zones should stay near 24 inches.
  3. Face the UV side up. One side carries the UV-protective coating and is marked with a printed film. Install that side toward the sky, or the panel yellows and embrittles early.
