Cutting along the corrugations (the lengthwise cut)

Should you use an angle grinder on corrugated panels?

An angle grinder with an abrasive cutoff wheel cuts corrugated metal fast, but it is the worst choice for a finished roof. The friction also blues and burns the paint or Galvalume finish along the cut. Reserve it for hidden cuts or scrap.
